Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities on-site.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Report any incidents or breaches of security to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner.
- Assist in conflict management by de-escalating situations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies regarding security procedures.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review by management.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not required.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
