- Control physical access to Lockheed Martin facilities and properties by permitting access only to authorized personnel on a 24/7/365 basis.
- Successfully complete and pass Probationary Security Officer Training (OC Spray, ASP Baton, Handcuffing, Weapons Qualification)
- Maintain a high degree of vigilance and professionalism while assigned to security posts and checkpoints.
- Expected to protect company, personnel, processes, and equipment at all facilities.
- The successful candidate will be required to:
- Obtain and Maintain a Top Secret clearance
- NOTE: A government security clearance is required for this position. Failure to successfully pass the extensive government background investigation, maintain a security clearance and be granted access to a sensitive program will result in the probationary candidate's termination from employment.
- Be available to work overtime regularly and at times on an unexpected basis
- Display a neat, orderly, and professional appearance at all times
- Be courteous in dealing with employees, contractors, customers, and visitors

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
