We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the facility.
Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary.
Document incidents and prepare reports as required.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred.
Experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must pass background checks as required by company policies.
